Over 130 years of Grand Slam Tennis History
Each year in late summer, the top players in tennis converge in the Big Apple for two thrilling weeks of grunts, groans, and glory. As the last grand slam of the season, the stakes are high and even the best still have something to prove.
The 2015 tournament started with Serena Williams being the favorite to win the women’s side and complete the elusive calendar Grand Slam. In the end, it wasn’t meant to be as she lost the semifinal to unseeded Roberta Vinci in a shocking upset. The men’s side wrapped up more predictably with number one seed Novak Djokovic claiming the title.
We may not know how things will play out in 2016, but we do know that the tennis will be spectacular and so will the host. Is there any place more exciting, more electrifying, more alive than New York to catch one of the sport’s biggest tournaments? We think not. Contact one of our sports travel experts at 1-800-465-1765 to get started on customizing your package to the 2016 US Open. Complete 2016 US Open Tennis packages available from $715 per person (based on double occupancy).

Today two unyielding women come to the court having made it through round after round of tough competition. After today’s competition your chauffeur will be ready and waiting to return you to your hotel.
Day 4 – Saturday, September 10
Enjoy breakfast before spending the day at your leisure. For the art lover, you may want to spend the day meandering through the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Guggenheim. From some of history’s most famous works to the creations of the modern era’s greatest artists, both of these museums hold within them some of the world’s greatest treasures. For a day of pampering, you may want to consider one of the many luxurious treatments at the Ritz’ La Prairie Spa. Will Novak Djokovic take to the court to reclaim his position as the tournament heavy hitter, or will one of tennis’ rising stars achieve the upset and find themselves hosting the US Open Trophy? After today’s match your chauffeur will be ready and waiting to return you to your hotel.
