Between Rounds

Away from Adare Manor, your time in Ireland is handled with the same care. We have personally selected two Killarney hotels, The Europe Hotel & Resort and The Great Southern, for their service, setting and access to the region. Your on-site host is on hand throughout for restaurant recommendations, transfers, and anything else you need.

Many guests add a round on Ireland’s legendary links. We can arrange tee times at Ballybunion, Lahinch, Waterville, Tralee and Old Head, some of the finest courses in the world, before or after Ryder Cup week. Others spend free days in Killarney National Park, driving the Ring of Kerry, or enjoying the pubs and traditional music of the southwest.

Sample Ryder Cup Itinerary

Below you will find a sample itinerary designed to give you a sense of what your Ryder Cup experience could look like. Every trip we create is personalized for each guest and tailored to your preferred dates, travel style, and budget.

Day 1: Arrive in Ireland

Day 6+: Departure or Extend Your Stay

After your last Irish breakfast at the hotel, your private departure transfer will take you to Kerry Airport for your flight home. For those looking to enjoy more of the Emerald Isle, you have the option to extend your stay. Play a round for yourself at one Ireland’s top courses, visit the Ring of Kerry, and explore Killarney National Park. How do I get to Adare Manor?
Fly into Kerry or Shannon airport. Our hotels are located in Killarney, approximately 20 minutes from Kerry Airport and 2 hours from Shannon Airport. For guests flying into Kerry Airport, private roundtrip transfers to and from your hotel are included. To get to Adare Manor, daily transfers from our hotels to Adare Manor (approximately 1.5 hours each way) are included as part of your package.
Can I add rounds of golf?
Yes. Optional add-ons can include tee times at Ballybunion, Lahinch, Waterville, Tralee, Old Head and other top courses, before or after Ryder Cup week. Please note that tee times are subject to availability and tend to fill up early. We recommend planning well in advance.
