The 150th British Open Championship will play out on the iconic Old Course at St. Andrews. St. Andrews is considered by many to be the birthplace of golf, with the sport being played there as far back as the 1400s. The Old Course has hosted The Open Championship more than any other course, at a record 29 times. This famous course is known for its large double greens (seven greens are shared by two holes each) and the iconic Swilcan Bridge, an impressive 700-year-old relic located on the 18th hole.
