Experience an Event of Unparalleled Exclusivity
As one of the world’s most recognized destinations and sporting events, the Monaco Grand Prix is truly an iconic event, a true bucket list experience for any traveler.
The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the world’s greatest and most challenging motor races as well as one of the most exotic and recognized events in all of sport. As the last remaining street course on the Formula One calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix carries on the best history and tradition of this spectacular sport. The Monaco Grand Prix is staged around the narrow, winding streets of Monte Carlo. The main attraction of the Monaco Grand Prix is the proximity of the speeding Formula One cars to the race spectators. The twisting 77-lap circuit offers incalculable opportunities for spectators to witness the thrill of screaming engines, smoking tires and the genius of the drivers over the 263-kilometre race on a course that allows no margin for error.
Monaco — or rather, its capital of Monte Carlo — has for a century been a symbol of glamour, glitz and a haven for the rich and famous. Hemmed in by France on three sides and facing the Mediterranean, tiny Monaco staunchly maintains its independence on some of the most beautiful and rugged coastline in the world. Monaco became a property of the Grimaldi clan, a Genoese family, as early as 1297 and they have ruled as royal family ever since, though never with the popularity and affection as when American actress Grace Kelly married Prince Ranier in 1956.
The moment you arrive in the lobby of the Hotel Hermitage, with its exquisite stained-glass ceiling, you are transported into a world of elegance and luxury. Considered one of the best hotels in the world by Travel + Leisure magazine, Hotel Hermitage features 280 rooms tastefully adorned in Belle Epoque style. Throughout the property, this classic style mixes gracefully with modern conveniences, evidenced in the award-winning spa, Les Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo and Le Vistamar restaurant where chef Joel Garault concocts fresh, inventive dishes inspired by the sea. The discreet luxury of the Hotel Hermitage is an experience that will leave you lusting to return again and again.
Hotel Metropole is a place with a spirit all its own. A source of wonder for your senses, this hotel strives to be a vacation in itself, offering all the intimacy and personalized service you could wish for. With over a century of history, the Hotel Metropole stands proud with its warm Mediterranean spirit, timeless architecture and modernized sense of luxury. A place with a past, the world’s top designers worked to create a space with just the right blend of comfort and beauty to create the fashionable and elegant hotel it is today. The creative and innovative character of Hotel Metropole with its marble baths, cypress lined streets, and the gorgeous views of the city of Monte Carlo may just make you want to stay forever – and if those don’t do it for you, the menu of Chef Joël Robuchon is certain to do it!
The Ultimate Monaco Grand Prix Experience
At least once in your life you need to experience Monaco. This legendary destination, between the Alps and the Mediterranean sea will offer you dreams and reality. Monaco, and specifically Monte Carlo has it all: a variety of museums, some of the finest hotels in the world, sumptuous gastronomy, incredible shopping, and perhaps the most enjoyable people-watching anywhere in the world. Add to that a vibrant nightlife scene with its casinos and clubs and you could keep yourself busy 24 hours a day.
Below you will find a suggested sample itinerary, please remember that we will completely customize your itinerary based on your tastes, desires and budget.
Day 1 – Thursday, May 22, 2014

The menu is Mediterranean inspired and the wine cellar is more than impressive, boasting 400,000 bottles of wine.
Day 2 – Friday, May 23, 2014
Breakfast at your leisure. After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the lobby for your private tour of the historic and picturesque Principality of Monaco. You will visit the Palace, home to the Prince of Monaco. The Palace began as a Genoese fortress in the 12th century, though it’s Prince Rainier III who is credited with restoring the Palace to the magnificent structure it is today. You’ll have a chance to explore this gorgeous palace and admire all its intricacies including its Italian-style gallery, its 15th century frescoes and the spectacular Throne Room, decorated with an impressive Renaissance fireplace. Lunch today will be enjoyed from the breathtaking vantage point of the Chevre d’Or in Eze Village. The terrace restaurant’s fresh cuisine is matched only by the panoramic views of the Mediterranean looking toward St Jean Cap Ferrat. Take a stroll through the cobblestone streets of this medieval town before rejoining your guide for a few more Monte Carlo highlights.
Tonight you will join the who’s who of fashion, sport, and celebrity at the most sought after event of the Grand Prix weekend, the fashion show and seaside dinner of the Amber Lounge. After a relaxed breakfast your guide and driver will meet you for a wonderful tour of the Old Town of Nice. Wander the famed Flower Market, pick up some souvenirs for friends and family back home, or enjoy a little of the French Riviera’s “joie de vivre” with an espresso on the Promenade des Anglais. No day trip to this city would be complete without a wonderful lunch of Niçois food at the boisterous and charming L’Acciardo. We recommend the the fish soup, it’s nothing short of amazing. If it suits your fancy, a short stop at the Matisse Museum on the way back to Le Mas Pierre will complete a day well spent.
Tonight enjoy thoughtfully prepared dishes at the Le Table des Pierre, or if you’re feeling a little more energetic, head into St Paul de Vence for the delightful creations of Laurent Paccini, the Michelin starred chef at Le Saint Paul. The Monaco Grand Prix is held each year on the Circuit de Monaco. A high profile event, it has been running since 1929 on the very same track, through the very same streets. Being the royalty of auto racing, it’s only natural that there be royalty at the event! The Monaco Grand Prix has been overseen by three generations of Monaco’s royal family. The circuit is praised for the glamour and the prestige, and in no way will such terms disappoint. From Monaco’s nobility to the world’s celebrities, this is an event of big names and bigger action. Follow the excitement through Monaco’s narrow streets, rolling hills, and tight corners. Once you experience the streets coming to life first hand, it will not be an easy place to leave. The area is not only a pristine place to vacation, but, because of the beauty of the area, many drivers have taken up residence in Monaco.
