2026 Winter Games Venues in Milan and Cortina
The 2026 Winter Games are the first to officially be hosted by two destinations: Milan and Cortina, Italy. Though there are only two official host cities, the Winter Games events will play out in other locations across northern Italy, providing visitors with a diverse range of travel destinations. The 2026 Winter Games venues are divided into five zones across northern Italy.
Milano Cluster
The cosmopolitan city of Milan will be our main hub for the Winter Games excitement. Milan offers all the conveniences of a world capital and is sure to be at its best during this premier sporting event. The city is known for fashion, design, arts, and culture, providing an array of things to see and do.

Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium (Stadio Giuseppe Meazza) – Opening Ceremony
Cortina Cluster
Dubbed the “Queen of the Dolomites,” Cortina d’Ampezzo is surrounded by this stunning mountain range, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The breathtaking scenery in this upscale resort destination will make a perfect backdrop for the 2026 Winter Games.

Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre (Olimpia delle Tofane), Cortina – Women’s Alpine Skiing

Anterselva Biathlon Arena (Südtirol Arena), Anterselva/Antholz – Biathlon
Valtellina Cluster
Located in Italy’s Lombardy region, near the Swiss border, Valtellina is known for its skiing and hot springs. In 2026, the scenic valley will host many of the ski and snowboard events at the Winter Games, including the debut of ski mountaineering.

Val di Fiemme Cluster
Surrounded by the Dolomites, Val di Fiemme has no shortage of spectacular mountain vistas. It is here, amid the stunning mountain peaks and eco-certified forests, that the Nordic skiing and Ski jumping competitions will take place. Those in attendance can marvel at the incredible natural scenery alongside the impressive athletic feats.

Verona
Perhaps best known as the setting of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, this charming city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the Roman influence in its marvelous architecture, including the famed Arena di Verona, built in 30 AD. The 2026 Winter Games will conclude in this historic amphitheater, which was selected to host the closing ceremony.
