Follow Team USA
The USA men’s team has a long history at the World Cup, dating back to the first edition in 1930. That inaugural World Cup also happened to be their best finish at the tournament, with a third-place result. In more recent years, the squad has advanced no further than the Round of 16 (2010, 2014, 2022). They’ll be hoping to top that as they compete on home soil in 2026.

The team’s starting lineup is yet to be determined. Key USMNT players that are likely to be considered include Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, Tyler Adams, Tim Weah, Brendan Aaronson, and Gio Reyna. Matt Turner is expected to return as goalkeeper.

Canada is an up-and-coming team with only two previous World Cup appearances, in 1986 and 2022. Team Mexico will be looking to rebuild after a disappointing group stage exit in 2022, which ended their streak of seven Round of 16 appearances.
