Los Angeles will make history in 2028 as the first host city to use only existing and temporary venues. In an effort towards sustainability, no new permanent venues will be constructed. Fortunately, the L.A. area has plenty of world-class venues to choose from. While most of the 2028 Summer Games venues will be in the greater L.A. region, it is likely there will be some soccer venues elsewhere in California. In addition, the softball and canoe slalom events will take place at existing venues in Oklahoma City.
