Nick Miller is a London-based freelance sports writer with 13 years of experience in the industry. He mainly writes about football for the Guardian and ESPN, but has also been published in FourFourTwo, Eurosport, the Independent, the Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mirror. He can also turn his hand to other sports, a particular highlight being liveblogging the luge from the Winter Games.
Nick grew up near Nottingham in the UK, and went to his first Nottingham Forest game in 1989, his support of the team neatly coinciding with a brief period of success followed by a couple of decades of misery and failure. Perhaps inspired by a desire to watch some more competent sportspeople, he began his career working for SportingLife.com, before moving to Football365 where he eventually became deputy editor.
He stayed in that job for six years, before entering the freelance world and has worked for most major publications in the UK, also appearing on radio and Football Weekly, the Guardian's long-running and successful football podcasts. You can follow Nick on Twitter @NickMiller79
