About the 2026 Final Four

Next spring, 68 collegiate teams comprised of the country’s best and brightest amateur athletes in the game of basketball will compete for the title of National Champions. In 2026, the biggest games of the season will play out in Indianapolis, Indiana. The two national semi-final matches will take place on April 4th and the national championship final will follow on April 6th. All games will take place at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The spectacular Lucas Oil Stadium opened in 2008 and is the home of the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. The seating capacity of 67,000 will be increased to over 70,000 to accommodate the demand for the Final Four. The sheer size of Lucas Oil Stadium is known for creating a feeling of enormity, while its sophisticated design manages to offer a sense of intimacy; it’s these two simultaneous experiences which have deemed this stadium as one of the true gems of professional sports arenas.
