About the 2025 MLB All-Star Game
Summer just isn’t summer without the MLB All-Star Game. For baseball fans, it’s such an integral part of the season that it’s become known as the Midsummer Classic. In 2025, the best baseball players in the world will converge in Atlanta for a fun-filled few days of everything baseball. This will mark the third time Atlanta has hosted the MLB All-Star Game (they last hosted in 2000).
Those visiting Atlanta for the MLB All-Star festivities can enjoy a number of events. All-Star Village festivities run Saturday through Tuesday. Saturday brings both the Futures Game, featuring the top Minor League prospects, as well as the Celebrity Softball Game, followed by the MLB draft on Sunday. On Monday, the Home Run Derby is always a fan favorite before the event is capped off by the 95th MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15th.

2025 MLB All-Star Tickets

Truist Park in Atlanta opened in 2017, replacing Turner Field as the home of the Braves. Along with the new ballpark, a $400-million entertainment district was built adjacent to the venue, called The Battery Atlanta. Together, Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta offer fans a complete entertainment experience with public spaces, restaurants, bars, shopping, and plenty of other fun activities. Truist Park has a seating capacity of over 41,000 and you can be sure that the atmosphere at the 2025 MLB All-Star Game will add to the excitement of this lively venue.

MLB All-Star Saturday
Though the All-Star Game itself steals most of the spotlight, there’s a lot of excitement to be had prior to Tuesday’s main event. Saturday at Truist Park kicks off with the All-Star Futures Game. This annual event showcases the minor league’s most promising young talent in a format that pits the USA against the rest of the world. Here you’ll get an early glimpse of some of tomorrow’s biggest stars. The fun continues with the Celebrity Softball Game. Started in 2001, this event brings together past All-Stars with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. The perfect blend of baseball, comedy, and competitive spirit, this game is always a crowd-pleaser.
MLB All-Star Monday
Monday brings MLB All-Star Workout Day to Truist Park. The highlight of the day for most is the Home Run Derby, a fan-favorite and one of the weekend’s most exciting events. The top power-hitters from the American and National Leagues are selected to battle it out in an impressive test of strength. The contest is set up in a tournament-style format which ultimately determines which player can hit the most home runs, earning him the trophy as well as bragging rights.
