2026 & 2027 Formula 1 Schedule

The next F1 race in 2026 is the United States Grand Prix in Texas on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at 4:00 PM ET. 6 races remain in the 2026 season, ending with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 6 December.

The 2028 F1 schedule release date has not yet been announced. For the past few years, the schedule was released between April and September, so we can expect the 2028 schedule will likely follow a similar timeline.

The F1 schedule typically sees a few minor changes from year to year. In addition to races being added or removed, race weekend dates may change slightly, and F1 Sprint Race weekends change venues.

Similar to the 2026 schedule, the 2027 schedule has grouped the races by geographical regions, largely due to a sustainability effort by F1. However, there are some amendments to the race calendar. Key changes on the 2027 schedule are listed below:

• In 2027, the F1 season will begin in Bahrain
• The Australian Grand Prix, which was the season opener in 2026, moves to third on the calendar
• The Portuguese Grand Prix and Turkish Grand Prix both return in 2027
• The Dutch Grand Prix was removed from the F1 calendar
• The Barcelona Grand Prix is not on the calendar for 2027, though it will return in 2028
• Due to the popularity of the Sprint format, the number of Sprint race weekends jumps from 6 to 10.

2026 (6): Shanghai, Miami, Montreal, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Singapore

2027 (10): Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Canada, Monaco, Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, Qatar, Abu Dhabi
