In February 2018, all eyes will be on South Korea as the world unites for the Winter Games. Day by Day

Day 1: Thursday, February 8, 2018four seasons seoul
Upon arrival in Seoul you will be personally greeted outside baggage claim by our friendly host team and transferred by private vehicle to the Four Seasons Seoul, your home for the next six nights. One of the country’s newest and most beautiful hotels, there will be few properties as coveted for the Winter Games as this one. In typical Four Seasons fashion, this extraordinary hotel seems to anticipate the needs of every guest, delivering a true luxury experience. Located in the heart of exciting Seoul, you are perfectly located to explore the best of this wonderful city. Your spacious one-bedroom suite provides stunning city views and is the perfect spot to call home during your Winter Games holiday.

After you have had the opportunity to freshen up and relax after your day of travel, your onsite host will meet with you to go over your personalized itinerary and discuss any concierge requests you may have.

This evening, we suggest dinner at Yu Yuan, conveniently located in your hotel. Michelin Star awarded, the cuisine is inspired by 1920s Shanghai. This isn’t your typical Chinese food; from the decor to the food, decadence abounds. A sure hit for your first night in South Korea.

Day 2: Friday, February 9, 2018Gyeongbokgung Palace
After a delicious breakfast this morning, enjoy some time at your leisure. You may want to explore the spectacular Gyeongbokgung Palace and the neighboring Bukchon Hanok Village. A definite must-see, this traditional Korean village will take you back over 600 years and give you some insight on what the city looked like in the 14th century. With the imposing skyline of modern Seoul as a backdrop, you’ll be rewarded with some amazing photo opportunities.

This afternoon you will be met in the magnificent Four Seasons lobby by your driver and transferred to the train station where you will board the high-speed bullet train to PyeongChang for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2018 Winter Games. Each year, this highly-anticipated show seems to get better and better. Get ready to soak in an atmosphere like no other. After the Ceremonies are over, the high-speed train will whisk you back to the train station in Seoul, where your driver will be ready and waiting to return you to the luxurious confines of the Four Seasons.

Day 3: Saturday, February 10, 2018korean food
Enjoy the morning at your leisure. This afternoon you will be met by your personal guide for a private Korean food tour. These half-day tours have been featured on Anthony Bourdain and in Bon Appetit magazine and will take you on a delicious adventure exploring the incredible food scene of Seoul.

If today’s tour has whet your appetite for more incredible Korean food, we suggest heading to Jungsik for dinner. Chef Jung Sik Yim has been dubbed the king of new Korean cuisine by both local and overseas media and has received many awards to support these commendations.


Day 4: Sunday, February 11, 2018figure skating winter games
Enjoy breakfast at your leisure before meeting your personal driver, who will transport you to the train station and the high speed bullet train to Gangneung for today’s figure skating session. First contested at the Winter Games in 1924, figure skating has become one of the most popular Winter Games sports and is always a highly sought-after experience. These athletes consistently put on spectacular performances of strength and grace, and you will have the opportunity to see the best-of-the-best compete on one of the world’s biggest stages. If time permits after the event, we suggest exploring more of Gangneung Olympic Park before catching the train back to Seoul, where your driver will meet you and take you back to the Four Seasons for the evening.


Day 5: Monday, February 12, 2018museum of modern and contemporary art
After breakfast, enjoy the remainder of the morning at your leisure before being met in the lobby for a half-day culture and arts tour of Seoul. You’ll get a new perspective of the city as your private guide escorts you through the Seoul Arts Center and the impressive National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art.

For dinner tonight, we suggest heading to nearby Din Tai Fung to try their amazing xiao long bao. These dumplings are small but mighty and might just become one of your favorite memories of your Winter Games experience.


Day 6: Tuesday, February 13, 2018 alpensia sports park
Enjoy another delicious breakfast this morning before your driver arrives to escort you to the train station once again. Today you’ll visit Alpensia Sports Park where you can soak in that electric atmosphere before making your way to the Yongpyong Alpine Center. This afternoon, the world’s best skiers will navigate down steep declines at tremendous speeds in a quest for gold. Feel the thrill of cheering on your country as the winner is decided by hundredths of a second. After the event, whether you choose to explore Alpensia or head back to the bright lights of Seoul, our onsite host team can help you plan your return to the city whenever you’re ready.

On your last evening in Seoul, we suggest dinner at Kioku in your hotel. Esteemed Japanese chef Kazumi Sawada offers his extreme skills in this Tokyo style sushi bar and Kyoto style small plates experience.


Day 7: Wednesday, February 14, 2018four seasons hotel seoul
Today enjoy one last decadent breakfast before checking out of the Four Seasons Seoul. Whether you are departing for home or extending your vacation to include another amazing destination, your private vehicle will be ready and waiting to take you to your departing flight.

The 6-night Ultimate Winter Games Experience as described above is $18,950 per person (Standard 6-night packages start from $6,895 per person).
