The world’s largest country has it all, from beautiful historic cities and idyllic countryside to artistic riches, an epic history and a vodka-fuelled nightlife. Modern Russia has the best of the old and new worlds. It has historic buildings dating back over a thousand years and brand new state-of-the-art stadiums. It has outstanding opera and world-class museums. It has a full spectrum of restaurants, from traditional Russian meals to trendy gourmet hotspots. And, of course, it’s home to millions of fans just as passionate as you about The Beautiful Game.
