Your Preferred Seats at The All England Lawn and Tennis Club

The All England Lawn and Tennis Club, or the All-England Club as it is often referred, is based in London's suburb of Wimbledon. Home to the famous Wimbledon Championships, the club boasts 19 tournament grass courts, including dozens of other courts, some of which are hidden under temporary stands during tournament play.

The Centre Court, which seats 15,000 and is used for many top seed matches and finals' matches, has a new retractable roof, which was used for the first time during the 2009 Wimbledon Championships. The All-England Club also operates as a members tennis club, and many of its courts are played on all year round.

Based on your selection, reserved seats are available at the Centre Court, the No. 1 Court, which seats 11,500 spectators, and the new No. 2 Court, which seats 4,000 spectators. Seating charts for both the Centre Court and No. 1 Court are featured below.

2011 Wimbledon Championships Schedule

The All England Lawn Tennis Club Grounds are open daily from 10:30 AM until one hour after close of play. Play is scheduled to start on Centre and No.1 Courts at 1:00 PM for the first eleven days of The Championships and 2:00 PM on finals' days. On all other courts the start of play will be at noon for at least the first eight days and 11:00 AM for Junior matches in the second week.

Schedule of Matches
Men's and Ladies Singles and Doubles, as well as Mixed Doubles, will be played on all courts during the first week of early round play. Top seeds matches will be played on the Show Courts. On the Outside Courts, as well as some of the Show Courts, Veterans and Junior events will be played, commencing on the middle Saturday.

Daily Schedule of Play
To ensure the most spectator accommodation is available at the potentially most attractive matches, matches for each day are prepared in draft the previous evening by the Referee. He then submits this to the Order of Play committee for approval or amendment. However, care is also taken to give any player likely to go far in the tournament his or her fair share of the Show Courts.
