Your Seating at the 2014 Daytona 500

Daytona International Speedway, in Daytona Beach, Florida, opened in 1959. Home to one of the most prestigious races in NASCAR, the Daytona 500, the facility has a seating capacity of almost 168,000 spectators. Although it is best known for hosting the "Great American Race," it hosts all kinds of motor vehicle races from go-karts, motorcycles and sports cars, to modified pickup trucks and stock cars. The track features multiple layouts including a 2.5 mile high speed tri-oval, a 3.56 mile sports car course, and a 2.95 mile motorcycle course. The track's 180-acre infield includes the 29-acre Lake Lloyd, which is home to numerous powerboat races. Today, Daytona International Speedway is the third largest single lit outdoor sports facility in the world.
