We’re pretty excited about getting to go to Bermuda for the America’s Cup next year, and we know that our guests are going to have an amazing time. Bermuda is a stunning destination, with plenty of incredible restaurants, hotels, and attractions to keep you entertained in between races.
Going to the America’s Cup with us is the ideal way to see this epic event, as we’ve got some pretty special stuff lined up for our guests. We asked Dave Guenther, Roadtrips President, a few questions about this upcoming trip to the Bermuda America’s Cup and what we can offer.
What advantage is there to traveling with us as opposed to with other operators?
“Roadtrips is a one stop shop for a custom luxury travel experience for the America’s Cup. With us you’ll get access to official channels and event exclusives. So we can arrange for you hard-to-find top end accommodations, reserved spots on official spectator boats that have guaranteed prime positions for all the races, premium VIP hospitality where you can meet legends of the sport and see the action in rarified comfort and a first class environment all while experiencing the hands on, personalized and caring service that has made us famous. If you’re looking to do it right or do it your way, we’re the best option out there.”
With this being such a large event, will there be any issue with finding accommodations in Bermuda?
“We’re working with the logistics company that has taken care of team travel for the America’s Cup for many years. So we have access to the official event bed bank. There’s limited accommodations in Bermuda to start with and there are already dates where some of the best hotels are sold out to the general public but we are a solution for anyone who is looking for top quality accommodations as part of their America’s Cup experience.”
What’s your impression of Bermuda, and what can’t you wait to share with Roadtrips guests?
“Bermuda is spectacular! In my opinion, it’s far more sophisticated than the Caribbean and it really benefits from its British heritage. You get the sense that some wonderfully quaint English hamlet has been magically transported to this island of rugged cliffs, emerald hills, azure seas and sun-drenched sands. It’s a very beautiful place and I’m looking forward to sharing and experiencing that in the midst of the tremendous energy and vibe of a world-class event like the America’s Cup. No doubt, Bermuda will be the place to be next June!”
