The 2013 PGA Championship is the 95th edition of the tournament, and it is being held at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY from August 8th to the 11th.  As always, there will be a stellar group of the world’s best golfers on display, and as always the title is up in the air.

Will the trophy be hoisted up by one of the favorites or by someone stealing the spotlight and making a name for himself?  Only time will tell, but here are some golfers to watch for.
Tiger Woods

Tiger is back to his old self, winning tournaments and hanging around the top of the leaderboard almost every week.  He has won 14 majors, including 4 PGA Championships and you can never really count him out.
Sergio Garcia

Anyone who follows golf knows that there has been a bit of a ‘war of words’ between Tiger and Sergio as of late.  This may be all cleared up by the time the tournament rolls around, but it could certainly be an interesting subplot.  As for golf, Sergio Garcia is always dangerous and has won more than 20 tournaments around the world.
Rory McIlroy

Irishman Rory McIlroy won the PGA Championship in 2012, and is currently ranked as the number 2 player in the world behind only Tiger Woods.  He is also a past winner of the US Open, and is always a threat to get to the top of the leaderboard and stay there.
Keegan Bradley

Keegan Bradley is an American golfer who is also a past PGA Championship winner, taking home the title in 2011.  He was voted as the rookie of the year in 2011 by his peers, and seems to have a very bright future ahead of him.  He is usually among the leaders in driving distance and also has a pretty deft touch around the greens, so he is never really too far out of contention.
Martin Kaymer

Martin Kaymer took the title in 2010 at Whistling Straits and for a time in 2011 was even ranked as the number 1 golfer in the world.  The German golfer has since relinquished that ranking, but still remains a dangerous presence in any tournament he plays in.
Padraig Harrington

Padraig Harrington is another Irish golfer who didn’t turn pro until he was 24, but was a winner of the PGA Championship in 2008.  As a past winner, and winner of two British Open titles, he will be on everyone’s radar as the tournament draws closer.
